PCWI Digital Needle Gauge.
The miniature size (42mm diam) of this Coating Thickness Gauge makes it easy to use and balance on the surface. Available as metric/imperial. Data out also available. When a hole is made in the coating to the substrate, and the needle placed in the hole, the gauge will read the coating thickness.
This gauge also doubles as a Surface Profile gauge. The special foot and 30deg sharp needle ensures measurements meet the requirements of AS3894.5-2002 (Surface Profile)and as far as we can ascertain it is the only gauge available within Australia which complies with the requirements of this Standard. Design of the unit permits accuracies equivalent to an electronic surface trace. The gauge can also be used for pit and crack depths.
