BDT-ST II Concrete Thickness Meter

The Concrete Thickness Meters are mainly used in the building trade to determine the thickness of the concrete layer above the armoured steel. This is absolutely necessary to prevent damages of the armoured steel and to avoid expensive restoration.
This portable device, which is especially easy to operate on construction sites, works according to the proven magnetic induction measuring technique and measures concrete layers up to 80 mm. The new probe design allows the operator to determine the exact position of the armouring rod, moreover the diameter of the armouring rod does no longer affect the accuracy of the measurement, as long as it is within 6 – 30 mm.
