The PTC® 511A and 512D Digital Durometers are the successors to the popular model 211 and 212, and is a state of the art durometers that are ideal instruments for lab use.

Type A: For hardness testing of soft rubber, elastomers, waxes, printing rollers, etc.
Type D: For hard rubber and plastics.

The PTC® 511A and 512D Digital Durometers features new, larger direct read LCD displays, RS232 data ports for computer compatibility, a locking feature to prevent

accidental erasure of tolerances, automatic shutoff and low battery warning. New accessories include an SPC type printer and optional software.
