Humidity is determined by wet & dry bulb thermometers.
Operation: Wet the wet bulb, the one with the sock on it, with distilled
water, allow it to saturate. Hold by the handle and spin for 15 to 30
seconds, facing any air flow. When the wet bulb reads a constant
temperature (may take 2 or 3 or more operations), dewpoint and relative
humidity can be determined by reference to a Dew Point book or
calculator. The dew point can be determined with the PCWI Dew Point
book.
Temperature in °C.
Range: -5°C to +50°C.
Accuracy: ±2% RH dependent on temperature and wet bulb reading. KEEP THE
WICK CLEAN, do not allow it to become contaminated by touching it with
your fingers.
