PCWI Surface Profile Needle Gauge

PCWI Surface Profile Needle Gauge. The only Profile Needle Gauge that complies with the requirements of AS3894.5-2002 (Surface Profile), and as far as we can ascertain it is the only gauge available within Australia which complies with the requirements of this Standard. Gives maximum peak to average valley height.
PCWI Surface Profile Needle Gauge is Not well suited for old or pitted steel (unless a flat area can be found). When placed perpendicular to the surface, the penetration of the tip into the valley is registered on the scale, with the inner pointer indicating the number of complete rotations of the large pointer.

Range: 0 to 1mm, in 200µm revolutions.
Accuracy: ±2µm
Note: Surface Profile does not play any part in Surface Cleanliness.
