Dry Film Thickness Gauge for destructive testing.
One of three angled cutters is chosen, to cut an angled groove in the coating. Measurement is made via the attached microscope through multiple layers to determine total and individual layer thickness of dry film coating on substrates such as Steel, Glass, Plastic and Concrete etc.
The Gradicle reads:
- 2 micrometres per div with a No 10 cutter (2 to 75 micrometres)
- 10 micrometres with a No 2 cutter (12 to 500 micrometres)
- 20 micrometres with a No 1 cutter (25 to 1270 micrometres)
